First things first, you need to have the proper materials!

Many people have different ways of creating the winged eyeliner however; I am going to share with you what has worked for me.

Materials:

©       Gel Liner

©       A brush

©       Q-Tips or Make-up removing wipes

©       Mascara

What I Use:

©       L'Oreal Infallible Gel Lacquer Liner – Navy (Including Brush)

©       Q-Tips

©       L'Oreal Voluminous Full Definition Mascara - Black

Step 1: Make sure you start off with a fresh, clean eyelid however, if you want some color on your lid, you would want to put the eye shadow on before starting the cat-eye.

Step 2: Take the brush of your choosing and dip it in the gel liner.

Step 3: Close the eye you are starting off with. Get as close to the top lash line as possible and start making small strokes beginning in the middle.

Step 4: You now want to go to the front of your lash line and make small strokes connecting to the strokes you made towards the middle of your eye.

Step 5: Next go to the end of your top lash line and make a diagonal line. I usually try to make the line according to the end point of my eyebrow so that it is equally diagonal on both sides of my eyes. Once you have made the line, connect the end of the diagonal line to the strokes you had made previously. Fill in the gap that is now there with the gel liner.

Step 6: Make your liner as thick or as thin as you want.

Step 7: Time for corrections. This is when you can take either a wet Q-Tip or a make-up remover wipe and fix anything.

Step 8: Lastly, choose your favorite mascara and put it on your top and bottom eyelashes.

Now you’re done! Hope this benefits you in some way while trying to achieve the famous Cat-Eye.
